THIS COLLECTION IS DEDICATED TO 100 YEARS OF CONSTRUCTIVISM MOVEMENT
Constructivism emerged from the wider Constructivist art movement, which grew out of Russian Futurism in 1913. Constructivist art had attempted to apply a three-dimensional structural vision to wholly abstract non-objective 'constructions' with a kinetic element. After the Russian Revolution of 1917, the movement turned its attentions to the new social demands and industrial tasks. The Constructivism movement in Russia was twenty years old with roots penetrated Art, Architecture, Town Planning, Film Industry, Graphics. Constructivism was shut down when secretary of polite-bureau comrade Joseph Stalin overtook power in Bolshevik part by 1933.
Those who left in Russia, some commit suicide, others were enslaved in Gulag camps, or enslaved in Social Realism the only true style of art, or Social Baroque the preferred architectural style by Comrade Stalin.
Similar ideas emerged in Germany and lead to establishment of Bauhaus institute for Architecture, Industrial design, Interior design, Graphics and Typography. With focus on industrial art applications and architectural design which is both functional and aesthetic resulting in development of international style. Amazingly, in Germany Hitler took the power in a democratic election of 1933, shortly after creating a dictatorship. Nazi troopers stormed Bauhaus in 1933 forcing administration to close Bauhaus. From now on the only true art is Arian Realism depicting heroic Nordic characters. Hitler due to his auto deductive watercolor architectural painting considered himself a great Architect of German Reich. Classic Baroque with heavy, frozen Nordic flavor.
It is a natural coincidence that Dictators prefer single common style, single common thought and a single-minded expression of the thoughts “In line Free Speech” in a homogeneous unison
