Packaging Boxes-Crats

This example is only one of many flat-packaging variants used for framed and unframed items. Paintings and reproductions are shipped in Boxes-Crates which are reinforced to protect packaged items from impacts of the handling in shipping process. Items are places in acid free crystal clear polyester bags sealed by sticky lock. Spacers  lock item in a fixed position

Inserts of the cover are inserted into slits of the base sealing completely crate creating thick, firm walls around artwork.

Closed crate is wrapped by three sticky tapes in each orthogonal direction as shown. When unpacking use cutting knife to cut wrapping tapes along gap between cover and base as show in drawing above. You can use metal scale aligned with the gap to preform clear straight cut.. When all tapes along perimeter of the gap are cut pull the cover up and separate it from base.

You need to keep the crate and packaging items for 30 day (permitted return period). You will be able to use the crate and packaging items for packaging artwork you decided to return.

Note: Don't strip off the sticky tape cut from cover and base
